Experienced intermediate-age classroom practitioner

Teaching intermediate-age students is simply the best! The successful applicant will continue the teaching of an established Y8 classroom where a strong learning culture is already embedded.

We are seeking an experienced Scale A teacher for a Y8 classroom to be part of our busy kura. You will be teaching in one of our six learning community teams. Primarily, your role is to oversee the teaching and learning of one of our 25 classrooms.

We welcome an experienced, trained practitioner who has strong curriculum knowledge of maths and English at Level 4 and early Level 5. We know that taking on a class in the middle of the year is not always easy, however, you will be well supported by your learning community team leader, curriculum heads and other colleagues. We will ensure you can simply get on with your teaching as you become familiar with a new school environment.

Bring with you, your solid foundations of teaching pedagogy, curriculum content knowledge and an excitement about a full intermediate school timetable. Once you are more familiar with our school culture, systems and curriculum then 2025 will bring about other opportunities for you within our school.

The commencement date is negotiable however, 30 students are super keen to meet you as soon as possible.
