About us:
At Busy Bees New Plymouth we have three age-appropriate classrooms. Each space has their own separate outdoor area providing endless opportunities to explore the natural environment. We celebrate whakawhanaungatanga (relationships) by connecting with our community through multicultural celebrations and creating a strong sense of belonging. Some of our community relationships include weekly Playball sessions and fortnightly Kapa haka with Whaea Rae.
Our ideal candidate will have:
Huge reserves of enthusiasm and energy
Competency in planning, curriculum and regular and emergent reviews
A personality that builds and develops strong relationships with staff and parents/whānau
An ECE or primary teacher qualification and registration as an ECE teacher in New Zealand
A nurturing, caring disposition, and passion for supporting young children to thrive
The ability to build and maintain responsive relationships with children and their whānau
Excellent communication skills.
