Harriette Vine Kindergarten offers high-quality education to children across the Whanganui region. It was opened on 29 March 1969 and named after a local Whanganui woman who bequeathed the land to be used for the benefit of children and in the community. Her aspiration was that the trees remained on the property and to this day her pōhutukawa tree takes pride of place at the kindergarten.
Harriette Vine Kindergarten is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in the area of Gonville. Over the past two years the team has focused on strengthening their localised curriculum and building on opportunities for community and whānau engagement.
The kindergarten is open from 8.30 to 2.30 each day and is a full-year service. Our children attend for 6 hours each day. You will join our team of 4 other trained and registered teachers.
To apply for this teaching position, you need to address the key skills or abilities listed on our website. We ask that you talk about these in your covering letter.
