Kaingaroa School on the Chatham Islands is seeking a .4 teacher (principal release) to support learning for our ākonga.
The Chathams provides the landscape for a rich and localised curriculum that you will shape to the needs and interests of ākonga, developing purposeful experiences that bring learning to life.
You will be absolutely ākonga focused, culturally responsive, and creative in your approach to teaching and learning. We seek someone who will be able to co-develop and deliver learning experiences that hook in our ākonga, ignite their learning spark, and instil a love of curiosity and learning.
Your role will include supporting school wide and inter-school planning by working in closely with the principal and others in the network of schools on the Islands.
In addition to the teaching role, additional support roles may be available for the right candidate.
