Guidance Counsellor Part time Permanent (up to 0.5 FTTE)

Te Kura a Rohe o Whaingaroa / Raglan Area School, is a coeducational school catering for 580 Y1–13 students. We seek an enthusiastic, motivated, qualified counsellor who has a passion for working with rangatahi, can build trusted relationships, has excellent interpersonal skills and can work calmly under pressure. The successful applicant will work collaboratively and proactively with the hauora/counselling team, leaders and teachers in supporting our ākonga and whanaū. The position is part-time permanent (up to 0.5 FTTE) and will begin January 2025.

The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the New Zealand Area Schools Collective Agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers is dependent on the applicant’s qualifications and experience. Individuals actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once  role is confirmed.
