Kaiako - Te Puna Reo o Pukehinahina

Te Puna Reo o Pukehinahina is a purpose built centre established by whānau o Pukehinahina in 2015. We are licensed for 30 tamariki and are part of a diverse community, located between Te Kura O Pukehinahina - Gate Pā Primary School and Tauranga Girls College. We are deeply committed to Te Ao Māori and nurturing our tamariki as te iwi Māori. Our practice is underpinned by our four values: Aroha, Mana, Rangatiratanga and Ako

We are looking for a  new kaiako to join our passionate team. The ideal candidate will have an ECE tohu, an appreciation of te reo Māori and a desire to continue their learning journey. Support will be offered for suitable applicants to gain mātauranga in te reo Māori.

This role is a full-time permanent position (37.5 hr).

The successful applicant will become a part of our collaborative team who are passionate about children's learning, and education within a kaupapa māori setting. We offer mentoring for registration, professional development and support, and a fantastic work environment.
