Seeking experience working with NCEA level students plus good understanding of NCEA at all levels.
Confident teaching online.
Recent experience teaching the New Zealand Curriculum preferred.
We invite applications from fully registered teachers with knowledge of the NZ school curriculum to join our Waikato teaching team.
We provide education and transition support for Y0–14 students whilst ill health prevents them attending their regular school. We are therefore keen to hear from teachers with flexibility and empathy, and an ability to adapt teaching to the unique needs of the individual student. Ability to speak te reo Māori and/or connections with local iwi highly valued but not essential.
Northern Health School is a Ministry of Education funded school. School management and administration is predominantly based in Auckland with school units in centres throughout the north island from Kaitaia to Gisborne, Taupo and Taranaki.
