Learning support coordinator (LSC)

Kāhui Ako ki Papakura is looking for a New Zealand registered, experienced teacher who is passionate about building relationships with learners, whānau and external agencies in a secondary school context to take up the role of learning support coordinator. This position is based at Papakura High School.

The ideal applicant will be able to work collaboratively with a wide range of staff at Papakura High School as part of the learning support team and as part of a wider LSC team in the Kāhui Ako. The ability and willingness to work with students and whānau from diverse cultural backgrounds is imperative.

A good understanding of Ministry of Education and other external agencies would be an advantage, as would knowledge of learning support in a secondary school context (e.g. special assessment conditions criteria, etc) however, training and support for further study would be provided for the right applicant.
