Macleans College is on the lookout for a passionate and experienced media studies teacher to enhance our expanding media community.
This opportunity is for a professional who is keen to be involved in the growing of young people from Y9 to Y13 and (ideally) contribute to our scholarship programme.
The role:
Develop and support: Play a pivotal role in the advancement of our Media Studies curriculum, ensuring a knowledge-rich learning experience that spans various media contexts;
Industry expertise: Bring your valuable media industry experience or diverse teaching background to inspire and educate our students;
Production mastery: Utilize your production skills to guide students in film production and other media projects;
Event Production: Help organise the 'Macademy Awards', our annual celebration of student filmmaking talent; and
Innovative Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Head of Department and Head of Faculty to build initiatives that fuel the passion for media, including filmmaking competitions.
