About the role:  

This position is based on our Māhuri Room, working alongside children aged 2 to 6 years old. Our 'Set for School' program is focusing on 'The Early Reading Program' this will enhance our tamariki learning as they enter primary school. 

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week Monday-Friday.  

Role requirements:  

  • B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current Teacher Certification  
  • Good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning and extending on our children's learning  
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whāriki and hold compliance in a high regard  
  • A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices  
  • Commitment for teaching and learning focusing on delivering quality.
