Qualified ECE teacher with head teacher experience

Located at 21 Frances Brown Avenue, Aotea, Porirua ours is a spacious and purpose-built centre. We are surrounded by natural resources.

We cater for 6 months to 5-year-olds. The flow of the centre allows separate areas for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Our tamariki come from different cultural backgrounds which further promotes a strong sense of culture and identity.

You will:

• Have an experience as a head teacher in ECE centre in New Zealand
• Hold an ECE qualification and a current teacher registration.
• Have good communication skills to build strong relationship with children and whānau and our friendly team
• Be a team player who can contribute to program planning, assessments and reviews
• Have knowledge and skills to promote a bicultural curriculum aligned with Te Whāriki as well as having an understanding of the cultural diversity of our community
• Have a growth mindset to further develop knowledge and skills required for any updates on curriculum design or current early childhood support documents.
