Learning centre leader

Full-time, permanent position – plus 2 management units

Commencing early term 3, 2024 (start date to be negotiated)

We are seeking an empowering and collaborative educator, who understands how best to support learners, to lead our Learning Centre.

Working collaboratively in a team-orientated environment, this role requires a knowledge and experience of best practice approaches to learning support. You will be an empath who is flexible, responsive, analytical and you will have strong organisational and relationship skills.

You will prioritise the sharing of appropriate data and lead a team who collaborate with teachers to support learning progress. An understanding of learning challenges experienced by some students is important, along with a robust understanding of appropriate approaches to support learners and grow their independence. You will be adept at applying culturally responsive practices in the Learning Centre to support our commitment to Te Tiriti. Successful applicants will be remunerated according to the appropriate salary step. This position also carries 2 management units.
