About us:

We are a 78 licence centre situated in Central Feilding looking for an upbeat, inspiring and dedicated infant teacher to join our Pāteke (U2s) room. We pride ourselves on Primary Care, respectful practice, free movement and whanaungatanga. The position is for a permanent full-time (35 to 40 hrs) kaiako and must be flexible with rostered shifts. Busy Bees Manchester Street believes in paying its staff for the high level of qualification and responsibility that they have, so we pay our staff full pay parity.  

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Huge reserves of enthusiasm and energy
• Competency in planning, curriculum and regular and emergent reviews
• A personality that builds and develops strong relationships with staff and parents/whānau
• An ECE or primary teacher qualification and registration as an ECE teacher in New Zealand
• A nurturing, caring disposition, and passion for supporting young children to thrive
• The ability to build and maintain responsive relationships with children and their whānau
• Excellent communication skills.
