Our kura seeks to appoint a calm, positive & approachable leader to join our exceptional team.
As a school of 500, we currently have a leadership structure of two deputy principals and 4 team leaders. We require a deputy principal with excellent curriculum knowledge, strong communication skills and proven leadership experience who will commit to joining our passionate team overseeing our ākonga in Y4–6.
We seek someone who has strengths in mathematics and physical education including EOTC. We need someone who can foster genuine relationships with colleagues, ākonga and whānau. The successful applicant will build strong relationships with local colleagues and Iwi as part of our Kāhui Ako. A commitment to giving effect to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, Te Ao Māori and te reo Māori is a non-negotiable quality in the successful applicant. Experience in leading assessment for learning and positive behaviour for learning would be an advantage.
