ECE teacher

We are a centre based in East Auckland with up to 50 children, we have been around for nearly 20 years and are a home away from home. 

Our centre is looking for a highly motivated new person to join our team. It is working with 2-5year olds within a mixed centre, who is a great communicator and is passionate about teaching and learning. We are looking for someone who can nurture and inspire the imaginations of our children, and with at least 3-5 years’ experience working in New Zealand.

To succeed in this role, you will:  

• Be a collaborative teacher with a passion for ongoing learning and professional development 
• Have excellent communication skills and a warm and nurturing approach 
• Be able to build strong connections with the children, parents, caregivers, whānau and the wider community 
• Be committed to the principles of Te Whāriki and have a real desire to make a difference to children in their early years 
• Be great at documentation and have a flair with writing learning stories or other types of documentation.
