Nga Tawa Diocesan School is a special character boarding and day school for year 9-13 girls. Ranked in the top tier of NCEA achievement, Nga Tawa had a 100 per cent pass rate at Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 in 2023. 100 per cent of year 13 students achieved University Entrance.
One of our much-loved language teachers is retiring at the end of 2024 after 40 years at Nga Tawa. We are looking for our next superstar language teacher to foster a love of languages in our young women and lead the languages department. The successful applicant will be confident teaching French to junior and senior (NCEA) students as well as English and English for Speakers of Other Language (ESOL). The ability to teach other languages will only benefit the department.
