Te Kura o Waikare Northland

0.6 CRT release teacher

We are looking for a motivated teacher who is confident in dilivery in Te Reo Māori to cover our classroom release time (CRT). This would involve teaching in a variety of classrooms from Y0-8. This part-time position will commence in term 3 (Monday 22 July) or date to be negotiated.  

Our CRT teacher will work 3 days a week with the potential of this increasing to 4-5 days a week by term 4.

We welcome applications from NZ registered teachers who have a sound knowledge of the Marau o Aotearoa,, have strong classroom management skills, can work collaboratively, have a good work ethic, are energetic and highly motivated, are able to develop excellent learner focused relationships and be excited to be part of the Waikare'family'.

CRT programmes will be supported by our staff but some cases the CRT applicant will need to be flexible and may be expected to provide their own programme for that classroom. This can be discussed further and negotiated.

We are a Kura-a-Iwi Kura, nestled in the rural valley of Waikare surrounded with lush environment of ocean, forest, eustries and Marae.
