Jade Speaks Up Educational Trust will be holding two full-day online courses for two of their programmes, equipping teachers/kaiako with the tools and strategies to help primary and intermediate-aged student recognise and manage situations that stem from family violence, bullying, anxiety and stress.

Practical workshop for education and health professionals, families, whānau, support workers and other interested people. These workshops looks at ways to maximise the use of low tech communication tools to support people’s expressive and receptive communication skills.
In our first session of three, we introduce our attendees to the Cultural Narrative that has been gifted to Tūranga.
In the final session of three we explore the new Aotearoa histories curriculum and how we have provided support as library staff to schools and educators across Canterbury.
In the second session of three we explore the Ngā Pounamu Māori Collection with our attendees and continue to explore tikanga and mātauranga Māori.
