Our popular annual competition opens March 15, 2024, and we have two categories for young poets (17 years and younger): Open Junior and Haiku Junior.

The Open Junior category calls for poetry inspired by works of visual art such as painting, sculpture or photographs. We have prepared a comprehensive Teacher's Resource to help students write poetry inspired by visual art.

The Haiku Junior category has no theme. We also have a handy guide to writing haiku.

Both FREE resources are available on our website.

Accelerated Universal Wellbeing Evaluation Tool (UWET) Accreditation PD Programme for Leaders of Wellbeing, SCENCOs, Counsellors, Psychologists, Social Workers, RTLBs & Teachers

The first offer of this programme in New Zealand will commence on the 30th April 2024. The programme is research-based and comprehensively prepares UWET Facilitators to administer and report outcomes and take appropriate actions.

UWET emerged from a 15 year wellbeing research programme which included two national Research Awards and is underpinned by the Universal Wellbeing Model. UWET can swiftly provide information about the status of the 70 variables that influence Universal Wellbeing and associated risks.
