Resource Teacher Learning & Behaviour

Coastal Otago RTLB Cluster 39 has a position to fill due to retirement.  We are seeking a New Zealand trained, fully registered teacher with skills to work with priority learners and teachers. 

The successful applicant will have recent teaching or RTLB experience, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, teachers and other professionals. 

Applicants must have an in-depth knowledge of the NZ Curriculum, experience in supporting diverse learners, ideally across primary and secondary levels (RTLB work with Y1-10 students), strength in behaviour management, and have the ability to guide teachers to adapt programmes to support students.

The successful applicant must hold a degree to meet the entry requirements to enrol in the Massey's Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Teaching which is compulsory for all RTLB.
