Junior School Teacher

Kio Kio School is seeking a passionate, enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to join our vibrant rural school in 2027.

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Confidently delivers Structured Literacy and Numeracy programmes.
• Follows school-wide scopes, sequences and agreed teaching approaches.
• Establishes clear classroom routines and consistent behaviour practices aligned with PB4L.
• Uses assessment effectively to identify needs, monitor progress and inform teaching.
• Demonstrates strong curriculum knowledge and readiness to implement the refreshed New Zealand Curriculum.
• Is reflective, welcomes feedback and contributes positively to a collaborative team.
• Brings flexibility, initiative and enthusiasm for all aspects of school life.
