Year 3-6 Classroom Teacher

Te Raekura Redcliffs School is seeking a highly motivated teacher to join our team. Our stunning kura overlooks Te Ihutai | Avon-Heathcote Estuary and is located on a culturally significant site that grounds us and inspires our vision around local curriculum and living our school values.

We are looking for a teacher | kaiako who:

• Has strong curriculum knowledge.
• Brings creativity, a sense of humour and a problem-solving approach to challenges.
• Understands the importance of supporting emotional regulation as a key part of learning, and works proactively to help young people develop these skills.
• Nurtures wellbeing while fostering curiosity, collaboration, and joy in learning.
• Has skill in using and developing digital fluencies with their students.
• Demonstrates a commitment to Te Reo and Tikanga Māori and seeks to be more culturally responsive within their own practice.
• Contribute positively to the wider life of highly engaged school community.
