Supported learning teacher
An exciting opportunity exists for a qualified, enthusiastic teacher for our Y9 supported learning students. You will be joining a faculty experiencing rapid growth. With a class size limit of 13, and a purpose built space which allows for a flexible team teaching approach. This is the perfect opportunity to practice your pedagogical skills in collaboration with other teachers. This is a unique position that offers the applicant a chance to build relationships whilst creating a relevant and meaningful programme.
This position would suit an expert with a background in primary/special education.
The remuneration will be based on the New Zealand Secondary Teachers Collective (2022 to 2025). Applicants must hold a teaching qualification as prescribed by NZQA and have a current Practising Cerificate, issued by the New Zealand Teachers Council.
Applicants should be well qualified and highly motivated, with a commitment to high standards of achievement in a progressive boys’ school environment. A strong commitment to restorative practices and culturally responsive and relational teaching approaches is essential.
Ka mohio hoki ki ngā ūara o te kura, ara ko te whakawhānaungatanga, manaakitanga, tika, pono, maia, aroha me te mahi tahi.
