School counsellor

We are seeking an experienced, proactive school counsellor to support our students and work as an integral part of the wider pastoral care team. This is a full time role based in our newly renovated Hauora Hub.

Ideally you will:

• Promote emotional and mental wellbeing, self-confidence and resilience
• Have proven school counselling experience working with young people and their whānau/family within a school context
• Be able to build and maintain strong networks with external agencies
• Be qualified and experienced 

You will be responsible for counselling students in Y7 through to 13 and must be able to work collaboratively and proactively with our students, parents, staff and the wider school community.
