Qualified early childhood teacher - nursery

We are searching for a qualified teacher to join our fantastic team in a full-time role, based in the nursery space. 

We require someone who is passionate about working with tamariki under 2 years of age. Experience working within a nursery environment is preferred.

Our separate U2's area offers a spacious indoor/outdoor area, with a maximum of 12 children in attendance daily. Inspired by RIE/Pikler, we value an unhurried approach within a calm learning environment, where respect is key.

At Buttercups Preschool Dallington, we are licensed for up to 50 children, from 3 months to 5 years of age. We value free play and we are entirely child-led throughout our curriculum.

Our opening hours are 7.30am–5.30pm each day and our philosophy emphasises the importance of respect, relationships, and communication.

We have opted into extended pay parity and we are a privately owned, family-run preschool.

Full or provisional certification is required. 

All applicants need to have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
