About the role
An exciting opportunity has become available to join our team at Western Heights Primary School – Te Kura o Whakaahu for the 2027 school year.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated kaiako to join our Phase 1 teaching team (Years 1–3).
Our ideal candidate will bring a strong work ethic, a positive, can-do attitude, and a genuine passion for working collaboratively. Experience or knowledge in Structured Literacy and Structured Maths would be an advantage but is not essential.
Our kura is a pretty special place, with amazing tamariki, supportive colleagues, and a strong sense of whanaungatanga. We're looking for someone who will embrace our school culture, contribute positively to our team, and help make our kura an even better place to learn and grow.
