Kaiako

Are you a passionate educator who excels at building positive learning relationships? Due to some changes in how we are organising our team, we have an exciting opportunity for an inspiring teacher to join our Year 7 and 8 Ohu. We are looking for a kaiako who has energy and enthusiasm and a desire to make a real difference through education.

At Tainui Full Primary School, positive relationships are the strength of our kura. We are seeking a caring, professional who has high expectations for all ākonga and a proven track record of fostering strong whānau connections.

Key strengths required

• The Tainui Way: You will naturally embody and model our core school values, Excellence, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.
• Curriculum and Digital Innovation: Confidently design and deliver integrated curriculum experiences that are creative and interesting.

What else can you bring to our kura? We are a collaborative team that values diverse strengths. Whether you bring expertise in Te Reo Māori, sports, structured literacy, or the arts, we want to know what your unique passions are and how they could enrich our school community.

If you are an Aotearoa based, registered teacher, committed to culturally responsive practices and ready to empower our senior ākonga, we would love to hear from you.

Visits to our kura are welcome, contact our office to organise a time.
