About the role

We are seeking a passionate and effective mathematics teacher to join our experienced and well-resourced mathematics faculty.

The successful applicant will be able to teach mathematics up to NCEA Level 3. The ability to teach technology would be an advantage, as would familiarity with the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons that support student learning and achievement.
• Teach mathematics up to NCEA Level 3.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity, confidence and academic excellence.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to support learning and development.

Key requirements

• Be a passionate and engaging mathematics teacher.
• Be confident teaching mathematics up to NCEA Level 3.
• Have knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum.
• Hold current New Zealand teacher registration and valid working rights.
• Have the ability to teach technology (advantageous).
• Have familiarity with the IB programme (advantageous).
