Classroom Release and CRT | Years 0–1 and Years 2–3

Are you a collaborative, energetic, and fun-loving educator looking for a rewarding part-time position? We are seeking an experienced, NZ trained, and registered teacher to join our supportive team on Thursdays and Fridays each week.

About the role
This is a 0.4 FTE position providing Classroom Release Time (CRT) and additional release across two dynamic junior classroom spaces:

• Year 0–1 Classroom: Supporting our youngest learners as they transition into school and build foundational skills.
• Year 2–3 Classroom: Fostering curiosity, independence, and enthusiasm for learning in early primary.

Because you will be working closely with classroom teachers and across multiple levels, adaptability and strong communication are key to ensuring a smooth, continuous learning program for our tamariki.

What we are looking for

• Qualifications: NZ trained with current NZ Teaching Registration and Practising Certificate.
• Experience: Experience teaching in junior primary settings (preferred but not necessary) with strong knowledge of early numeracy and structured literacy approaches.
• Team Player: A collaborative mindset—someone who communicates effectively and builds strong partnerships with colleagues, support staff, and whānau.
• Energy and Passion: A fun, positive, and enthusiastic approach to teaching that inspires young learners every day.
