Learning Support Coordinator

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Learning Support Coordinator to join our amazing kura!

You will be working alongside an outstanding, supportive team and our experienced SENCo/Deputy Principal to ensure that all tamariki have the support they need to thrive in their learning and school life.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, organised, flexible and passionate about making a difference for learners with additional needs. You will have strong relationship-building and communication skills, and be confident working collaboratively with teachers, whaanau and outside agencies.

Experience working with students who have additional learning or behavioural needs is essential. An understanding of the SENCo role, learning support processes and/or experience with funding and support applications would be an advantage.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who shares our school values of relationships, responsibility and resilience, has a genuine commitment to inclusive education, and will be a positive addition to our Taupiri School whaanau.
