HOD Health and PE

We seek an energetic and experienced educator to lead our high performing health and PE department, Students at our kura strive for academic success at the highest levels, including scholarship. Contribution to the scholarship programme is an expected part of this leadership role.

The successful applicant will be an NZ registered teacher and have experience in:

• Leading change
• Curriculum design 
• NCEA level 2 and 3
• Culturally responsive pedagogy
• Meeting the needs of a diverse range of students 
• Thriving in a team environment 

James Hargest College is situated in Invercargill where housing is affordable, and Fiordland and Queenstown are on our back doorstep.
