Nelson Park School Hawke's Bay
Classroom Teacher
- Full-time
- Permanent
- Suitable for beginning teachers
About the role
One of our amazing kaiako is heading off on a new adventure to teach in Auckland, so we are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and committed teacher to join our wonderful team at Nelson Park School.
We are a welcoming, supportive school with fantastic tamariki, amazing staff and a strong sense of community.
We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children, builds positive relationships with colleagues and whānau, and brings energy, enthusiasm and a sense of fun to school each day.
A passion for sport would be an advantage, but we also welcome applications from teachers who bring enthusiasm, talents or special interests in other areas. We value the diverse strengths our staff bring to school life and would love to hear what you could contribute to our team.
We would love someone who:
- is passionate about teaching and learning
- making a difference for tamariki
- builds strong, positive relationships with students, staff and whānau
- is a collaborative team player with a positive attitude
- creates an engaging, inclusive and supportive learning environment
- is keen to get involved in the wider life of our school.
If you're looking for a school where you'll be supported and part of a great team, we'd love to hear from you.
