About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable teacher with strengths in teaching students in Years 7 and 8 – particularly English and Maths.

St Ignatius of Loyola Catholic College is a Catholic state-integrated, co-educational secondary school, rapidly growing in both size and reputation. Our college is committed to providing a holistic education in the Catholic and Ignatian tradition, where academic excellence, faith formation and the development of the whole person are central.

Our students are encouraged to recognise and develop their God-given gifts and talents, to strive for personal excellence, and to use their abilities in the service of others. Inspired by the Ignatian principle of finding God in all things, we seek to nurture young people who are people for and with others, equipped to make a positive difference in the world.

This is an opportunity to join a faith-filled, collegial and ambitious staff who are committed to excellence in teaching, learning and pastoral care, and to serving our ākonga, whānau and wider community.

A willingness and ability to participate in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of the school is a condition of appointment.

This position starts in term 1 2027.

Application is via our online application form.
