About the role

Papatoetoe High School is a large, co-educational state secondary school in South Auckland, serving a vibrant and diverse community.
We are seeking an experienced, inspiring and passionate English teacher to join our English Department from the beginning of term 1, 2027. Applicants must have proven experience teaching English at NZC Levels 2 and 3.
We are looking for a teacher who will inspire and challenge our students and who embodies our school motto, Digne Lampada Tradas, encouraging students to be worthy to hand on the torch to the next generation.

Applicants must:
- have experience teaching English at NZC Levels 2 and 3
- be well versed in the New Zealand Curriculum
- hold current New Zealand teacher registration
- be eligible to work in New Zealand
