Year 2 to 5 Classroom Teacher

Egmont Village School is looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and caring classroom teacher to join our kura. This position will be in our Year 2 to 5 area of the school, we will discuss actual year level with the successful applicant. We are looking for someone who is committed to making a difference, enthusiastic in their delivery methods and interested in keeping up to date with curriculum development.  

We are looking for a teacher who:

• is an excellent communicator and an active team player
• brings a solutions-focused attitude and approaches challenges with a positive outlook
• can build strong, meaningful relationships with students, staff and the wider community
• has strong behaviour management skills
• is skilled in creating positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environments.
