About the role
As a Year 8 teacher you may well be considering a new opportunity or teaching environment offering middle management responsibilities. We are seeking an innovative and versatile teacher to join a collegial Year 7-8 Department and be immersed in the wider staff and school life.
You will be a committed teacher who is able to offer a diversity of skills and have a genuine interest in boys’ education. Pastoral experience in mentoring, guiding, and supporting is advantageous.
The successful applicant will accept the condition to support, uphold and be positively involved in the Special Character of the college and participate in the school’s co-curricular programme.
Contract and remuneration will be in accordance with the Secondary Teachers’ Collective Agreement (CA) https://www.education.govt.nz/school/people-and-employment/employment-agreements/collective-agreements/ as assessed by the Salary Assessment Unit of the Ministry of Education. Annual remuneration is dependent on service and qualifications, between $62,862 and top rate of $105,686 per annum plus allowances as above. Hours of work will be as set out in the STCA.
