English and/or Social Science Teacher (0.4 or 0.5 FTTE)

We are seeking an outstanding English and/or Social Science teacher to join our team for the 2027 school year. As students transition into senior secondary levels (NCEA), specialist expertise becomes vital to driving excellence, fostering critical thinking, and delivering a high-quality curriculum aligned with a biblical worldview.

We are looking for a qualified college teacher dedicated to inspiring students to discover their voice and engage deeply with the Year 9–13 New Zealand Curriculum.

• Position: 0.4 or 0.5 FTTE (Part-Time)
• Levels: Year 9 – 13 (English and/or Social Science - please state other subject strengths)
• Start Date: Term 1, 2027

Qualifications and requirements

New Zealand registered teacher (or holding valid NZ registration and a current practicing certificate). Proven track record of successful English and social sciences teaching at the secondary level. Willingness and ability to uphold and model the school’s Christian character.
