We are seeking a passionate and committed classroom teacher for a fixed-term Phase 2 maternity leave position in 2027. The successful applicant will have recent, successful teaching experience in New Zealand primary schools and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of our tamariki.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a caring, self-motivated and a collaborative team player who is highly organised and has good curriculum knowledge.
• Has strengths in literacy and mathematics, with the ability to deliver engaging, effective teaching and learning programmes.
• Builds positive, respectful relationships with staff, tamariki and whaanau.
• Creates a rich, inclusive learning environment through effective classroom management and positive behaviour strategies.
• Embraces our school vision, Learning for Life, and models our rural values of Integrity, Challenge, Ambition, Respect and Encourage.
