Food Technology Teacher

Westlake Boys High School is seeking an passionate and motivated Food Technology teacher to join our Design and Innovation Faculty, commencing Term 1 2027.

We are looking for a passionate and engaging educator who can deliver high quality teaching, inspire creativity, and provide students with meaningful, practical learning experiences.

Applicants must be NZ registered, fully conversant with the NZ Curriculum and have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa. We are an AEWV Accredited employer. 

The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the Secondary Teacher's Collective Agreement (STCA) 2025–2027. Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers currently ranges from $64,119 to $107,886.00, depending on the applicant’s qualifications and experience. Individuals’ actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment by Education Payroll once a role is confirmed.
