Senior Teacher (Year 4-6)

We’re looking for a caring, creative and skilled teacher to join our kura and inspire our senior learners. You’ll bring confidence in structured literacy and numeracy, a talent for engaging older learners and a passion for learning that reaches beyond the classroom.

• Strong teaching foundations: You use structured literacy and numeracy approaches to support progress for every learner.
• A gift for the senior years: You understand the needs of Year 4 to 6 and can confidently support learners in a composite-class setting.
• Creative curriculum thinking: You connect learning across curriculum areas to create meaningful, memorable experiences.
• An outdoor spirit: You see the learning opportunities in gardens, mud, bugs, birds and the natural world.
• A capacity to work with neurodiverse children: You can support those who find neurotypical spaces difficult to navigate.
• A heart for tamariki: You build trusting relationships, show empathy and help children and colleagues flourish.
