Morningside School, Whangārei, is seeking 3 permanent Scale A teachers as current staff prepare to leave the area.

We are looking for kaiako who:

• build warm, respectful relationships with tamariki, whānau and colleagues
• combine high expectations with responsive teaching that supports learner progress
• bring a trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming approach, using predictable routines, flexible learning opportunities and calm, restorative responses
• value culturally sustaining practice, honour Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and affirm learners’ identities, languages and cultures
• contribute actively to school life and demonstrate our three Cs: contribution, consistency and communication
• collaborate openly, reflect on their practice and bring a willingness to keep learning.
