Year 7 and 8 Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate teacher to join our team in 2027. We are looking for someone who is committed to providing outstanding learning opportunities for our tamariki and who believes in the power of strong relationships, inclusive practice and transformative learning.

The successful applicant will:

• build positive relationships with all ākonga and whānau, fostering a strong sense of belonging and a positive, learning-focused classroom culture
• embrace our PB4L approach, creating a safe, supportive and engaging environment where students are encouraged to thrive
• deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching aligned with the refreshed curriculum, using assessment information to accelerate student progress
• implement effective structured literacy and mathematics practices to support and extend learners at all levels
• champion culturally responsive and relational pedagogy, contributing to our vision for transformative learning and success for every student
• collaborate as part of a supportive, reflective team, sharing ideas, learning from others and continually strengthening teaching practice.

Applicants must hold full Teaching Council registration and a current practising certificate.
