About the role
We are seeking an innovative, passionate and collaborative teacher to lead our Year 10 Social Studies programme. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher looking to be involved in curriculum design and leading a teaching team.
The successful applicant will join our Social Science HOF and TIC Year 9 Social Studies to oversee the development and delivery of our junior social studies programmes.
Please state your senior teaching specialisms. Strengths in any of the following senior subjects will be highly valued: Geography, Senior Social Studies, Tourism, NZ History.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the planning, assessment, and resource development for Year 10 Social Studies.
- Mentor and support staff teaching within the Year 10 programme.
- Tracking junior student achievement data to inform teaching and learning.
You will be joining a supportive, forward-thinking and highly collaborative Social Sciences faculty.
A willingness to contribute to our school extra-curricular programme is expected.
Duties to commence at the start of the 2027 academic year.
