About the role
Pukenui School is a full primary school (Years 1-8) located on the Te Aupōuri Peninsula in the Far North of New Zealand. We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and collaborative Year 3 and 4 teacher to join our team.
We are looking for a teacher who:
- has experience with, or a strong understanding of, Structured Literacy approaches
- demonstrates a growing familiarity with the refreshed New Zealand Curriculum (Te Mātaiaho)
- is passionate about fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment where young learners thrive
- works collaboratively alongside a supportive, friendly team
- values strong school-community partnerships and actively involves whānau in learning.
