Year 5 Classroom Teacher

Belmont School is seeking an enthusiastic teacher to join our team from term 1 2027, teaching in a Year 5 Class. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to making a difference for children.

About the role

As a Year 5 teacher, you will join Te Moana, a team of 4 Year 5 and 6 teachers. You will work closely with colleagues to:

• develop high-quality teaching practice that reflects the New Zealand Curriculum, with a strong focus on structured literacy and mathematics (PR1ME)
• contribute to the design and delivery of meaningful learning opportunities
• support the wellbeing and success of all learners through inclusive practices.

You will be supported with consistent and regular classroom release time, half a day per week.
