Trinity Catholic College Otago

Homeroom Teacher

  • Full-time
  • Permanent
  • Suitable for beginning teachers

About the role

Trinity Catholic College, situated in the heart of Dunedin, is seeking a teacher with strong pedagogical skills to join its Year 7 to 9 integrated programme.

Ideally, applicants will be able to teach competently across more than one subject area in Year 8 or Year 9 depending on their strengths, background and experience. We will begin 2027 with a roll of 900 students and our co-ed Catholic environment provides a holistic faith-based education for our young people with a focus on excellence.

Our Year 7 to 9 area of the school works in a homeroom system to provide stability and consistency for our youngest students. Our homeroom teachers have the opportunity to also teach in their specialist area at other levels of the college, so please state the specialist subject area(s) you have qualifications in. Because we are a Catholic college, applicants must have a willingness to support and uphold the special character of the college.
