About the role

Located in beautiful, historic Kerikeri, Harvest Christian School is a state-integrated, non-denominational Christian school catering for students in Years 0–8. We are under the proprietorship of the New Zealand Christian Proprietors Trust (NZCPT).

At Harvest, we provide a quality education grounded in a Christian worldview and delivered through the New Zealand Curriculum, Te Mātaiaho. We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and skilled primary school kaiako to join our vibrant school community. The successful applicant will be passionate about supporting children to flourish, building positive relationships and working collaboratively to provide engaging, inclusive and purposeful learning experiences.

The successful applicant will:

  • demonstrate sound curriculum knowledge and effective teaching practice
  • uphold and actively support the Christian special character of Harvest Christian School, in alignment with NZCPT’s Statement of Faith and theological framework

  • work collaboratively as part of a team
  • foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment with high expectations for every learner
  • demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional learning and growth
