HOD of Science

Bethlehem College is a non-denominational, co-educational Christian college (Year 1 -13). Staff enjoy excellent modern resources and fine facilities. The college’s emphasis is on applying Biblical principles to all aspects of school curriculum and life. 

Bethlehem College has established a reputation for providing quality all round Christian education. Christian thought and practice is integrated across the curriculum, which is broad based and includes excellence in academics, sports, the performing arts and the shaping of moral leadership and service.

Applications are open for a positive, enthusiastic and passionate teacher to lead our Science Department and teach science classes in the secondary school. Must have a thorough understanding of the New Zealand curriculum and the NZQA framework.

Applicants are required to have an active personal Christian faith and a willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of Bethlehem College shall be a condition of appointment, as provided for in the school’s Integration Agreement and Schedule 6, Clause 47 of the Education and Training Act 2020.

Position commences: Term 1, 2027.
