Campbells Bay School Auckland

Specialist Teacher for Learning and Behaviour

  • Part-time (0.4 FTTE)
  • Fixed-term (2 Feb to 12 Dec 2027)

About the role

At Campbells Bay School, we have a vision of ‘growing learners who strive to be the best they can be.’ If you want to make a difference in children’s lives, we could be the place for you.

We highly regard and value the RTLB service and use them regularly. The expertise they bring and the guidance they offer to students and teachers is exemplary. However, and there is a but, their resources are limited and we find that although they accept many of our cases, they do not have capacity to support all the cases we ask of them.

Our school board is exceptional and have agreed to fund our own RTLB specialist for 0.4 to 0.6 FTTE (negotiable for the right person). We would like a trained RTLB who perhaps is looking for a change: less hours, 1 school to work in.

You would be supporting students with learning and behaviour challenges and supporting teachers to add to their kete of strategies to support their learners.

Get in contact if this is you. We would love to hear from you.
