Learning Support Coordinator/Intervention Support Teacher

Are you passionate about supporting diverse learners? Do you have experience navigating learning support systems and ensuring every child reaches their full potential?

We are seeking an experienced, passionate and highly organised SENCo and Learning Support Coordinator (LSC) to join our team in 2027.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced NZ-registered teacher who is passionate about inclusive education and making a genuine difference for tamariki. The successful applicant will lead and coordinate learning support across our school, working alongside all staff, whānau and external agencies to ensure diverse learners are well supported to experience belonging, success and progress. A large part of this role is to coordinate the preparation, delivery and evaluation of specialised English and Mathematics programmes to meet the needs of students. 

We are looking for someone who:

• holds current New Zealand Teacher Registration
• understands Tier 2 and Tier 3 students with high and complex needs
• builds positive, trusting relationships
• has strong organisational and communication skills
• brings initiative, sound professional knowledge and a collaborative, solutions-focused approach.

An important part of the role will be supporting and empowering others, building staff capability and strengthening inclusive classroom practice. Provide coaching for teachers in regard to inclusive practices.
